Not at all! Our expert guides will provide all the instruction you need, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned angler. We’re here to make sure everyone has a great time!
We provide all the gear (rods, reels, tackle, and safety equipment), so just bring yourself, comfortable clothing, sunscreen, and a hat. If you’d like to bring any snacks or drinks, feel free to do so!
New Zealand’s waters are home to a variety of fish species, including snapper, kingfish, and more. Your guide will take you to the best fishing spots based on the season and conditions.
Food isn’t provided; we recommend bringing your snacks and beverages to stay fuelled throughout the day. We can also help you arrange for lunch or soft drinks and water upon request at the time of booking.
Our fishing charters typically last between 4-8 hours, depending on the package you choose and the weather conditions on the day. We can also arrange for longer trips if you’re looking for more adventure!
To help prevent seasickness, stay hydrated, eat a light meal beforehand, focus on the horizon, and consider motion sickness remedies like ginger, wristbands, or medication. If using sea sickness medication, it is advised by the manufacturers to take it a day in advance. Read the labels carefully.
