Terms and Conditions of Booking

1. Definitions

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Eco Adventures Limited, the operator of the charter.

  • “You”, “Your”, “Guest(s)” refers to the person(s) booking and/or participating in the charter experience.

  • “Charter” refers to the fishing trip or experience booked.


2. Booking Confirmation

  • A booking is only confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received and we have sent written confirmation.

  • Minimum guest numbers may apply to group bookings. We reserve the right to reschedule or combine groups if minimum numbers are not met.

  • Maximum guest numbers apply to all charters. Only the number of guests allocated to your booking will be able to join.

3. Payments

  • A deposit of [25%] is required at the time of booking.

  • Full payment is due [14 days] prior to the scheduled charter date.

  • Bookings made within [14 days] of the departure date require full payment at the time of booking.


4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations by Guests:

  • If you need to cancel, we will work with you to find an alternative date that is suitable for all parties. If we cannot find an alternative date then the following cancellation policy applies:
    • Cancellations made more than [14 days] before the charter: Full refund (minus any booking fees).

    • Cancellations made [13 – 7 days] before the charter: 50% refund (minus any booking fees)

    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the charter are non-refundable.

Cancellations by Us:

  • We reserve the right to cancel due to adverse weather, safety concerns, mechanical failure, or insufficient numbers.

  • In the event of cancellation by us, guests will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.


5. Weather & Sea Conditions

  • Safety is our priority. We continuously monitor marine conditions and reserve the right to cancel or adjust trip duration and location if we deem conditions unsafe.

  • Weather-related cancellations are at the sole discretion of the skipper.

  • We may, at our discretion, alter our port of departure and return if adverse weather conditions make the port of booking unsafe.

6. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests must arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in missed departures with no refund.

  • All guests must follow crew instructions and safety procedures at all times.

  • Unless previously agreed in writing and a waiver signed, guests are not permitted to enter the water at any time.
  • Intoxicated guests will not be permitted to board or continue the charter. If a guest becomes intoxicated during the trip, the charter may be ended early.

  • Any damage or loss caused to the vessel or equipment through negligence may incur repair or replacement costs.


7. Liability & Insurance

  • All activities are undertaken at your own risk. We accept no liability for personal injury, loss or damage to personal belongings.

  • We recommend you arrange suitable travel and personal insurance.


8. Children

  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

  • Minimum age requirements may apply for certain trips or conditions.


9. Catch Policy

  • We support sustainable fishing practices and adhere to all local fishing regulations.

  • The skipper will advise on catch limits, size restrictions, and methods.

  • Catch may be shared among guests at the skipper’s discretion.


10. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or mechanical issues.


11. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version current at the time of your booking will apply.
